This is in keeping with the mandate of the leadership of the organization to meet the changing needs of the union’s diverse membership base. Of paramount importance is the participation of female members; the NWU seeks to hear the voice of women representatives from various sectors within the hierarchy of the union structure and maintains that union policies reflect women’s concerns.

Over the coming months the Council will embark on a series of sensitization Webinars coupled with social media challenges that will foster its main objective of empowering women members of the NWU.
