The National Workers Union (NWU) and the Management of First Citizens Bank Ltd. have signed their first industrial agreement.

Clerical and technical workers employed with the financial institution will benefit from a seven percent (7%) general wage increase with back pay from February 2016.

The new industrial agreement will run for a period of three (3) years and will provide the following benefits:

Overtime, Uniforms, Paternity Leave, Lunch/Dinner/Breakfast Allowances,
Vehicle Maintenance and Travelling Allowances, Customary Benefits, Trade Union Education Leave, Profit Sharing.

The official signing of the industrial agreement took place at the Department of Labour during which both sides expressed their commitment to administering the full implementation of the industrial accord.
