NWU CONCEREND ABOUT APPALLING SITUATION IN SECURITY SERVICES SECTOR

The National Workers Union (NWU) is extremely concerned about some of the industrial behavior being exhibited by certain employers within the Security Services Sector.

The NWU is adamant that the coronavirus pandemic, COVID-19, cannot be held responsible for those industrial atrocities that were being committed before the start of the pandemic and are taking place currently.

These were existing long before the onset of COVID-19. Workers in the Security Services Sector are being badly paid by some employers. Their hours of work are being manipulated to avoid Overtime payments. Overall conditions of employment are appalling.

The National Workers Union has vowed to deal with the situation head on.

PRIME MINISTER ALLEN M CHASTANET TO MEET NWU RE ST. JUDE HOSPITAL INDUSTRIAL MATTERS

Prime Minister Hon. Allen M Chastanet has informed the Leadership of the National Workers Union (NWU) that he is prepared to meet officials of the Union and its Shop Stewards as it pertains to outstanding industrial relations matters between St. Jude Hospital and the National Workers Union.
