
NWU AND DBC SIGN 16th INDUSTRIAL AGREEMENT
The Management Du Boulay’s Bottling Company and the National Workers Union (NWU) signed their sixteenth industrial agreement this week.
Over one hundred (100) clerical, sales and plant operatives will benefit from the new industrial accord.
Workers will receive an eight percent (8%) general wage increase effective from September 30, 2016 with retroactive payments to follow.
A revised regime of concessions will include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Allowances, Length of Service Premium, Incentive for Good Conduct, Resignation Pay, Scholarships and Paternity Leave.
The industrial package will run for a period of three years and was signed by top officials from the company and the Leadership of the National Workers Union.
