
CDSL SIGNS NEW INDUSTRIAL AGREEMENT
The Management of Caribbean Dispatch Services Limited (CDSL), a subsidiary of American Airlines and the National Workers Union (NWU) signed a new industrial agreement today April 3, 2018.
The signing took place at the company’s operational unit at George F.L. Charles Airport at Vigie in Castries.
Over two hundred (200) airline workers employed with the company will now receive a ten percent (10%) compounded general wage increase. Transportation Allowance of $351.00 with upgrade in Call Back, Shift and Laundry Allowances are among the fringe benefits agreed upon. Retroactive back pay will be paid effective July 1st, 2017.
The company paid out US$1000.00 to all the employees as a mark of appreciation for the employees’ performance.
The new industrial agreement will run for a period of three (3) years.
