LONG LIVE THE UGTG
The National Workers Union (NWU) in Saint Lucia, the Helen of the West takes this opportunity to congratulate your organization on the occasion of its 16th Congress to be held during the period June 10 – June 12, 2021.
Comrades, we all recognize that COVID-19 has mapped out for us globally, a web of uncertainties in all different domains that we are all trying to navigate. Changes abound in the approaches that we used to take to deal with matters and reach amicable resolutions. For more than one year now, it has not been business as usual and will not be so in the foreseeable future.
Regardless of the situation, we have to continue to strive diligently to serve our members with commitment and in the highest professional manner. We need to collectively bargain so as to negotiate the best possible conditions of work and level of wages that would enhance their standard of living and quality of life. Comrades as you focus on your theme for Congress 2021 which is:
VI AN NOU AVAN LAJAN A YO...
GWADLOUP SÉ TAN NOU... YÈ, JÒDI É DÈMEN.
GWADLOUP PÉKÉ KONSTWI
SAN TRAVAY NI SAN TRAVAYÈ !

The Central Committee and members of the National Workers Union applaud your Leadership Team and members on another milestone in the development of your organization and wish you the best in your future endeavours.
